Gender Equality and Climate Change Finance – The Role of Public Development Banks
when ? where ?
The Wednesday 16 March 2022
9:00 EDT

Public development banks (PDBs) are essential players in the response to the 2030 global agenda on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Gender equality as well as climate change remain major challenges to reach the 2030 Agenda targets. To ensure that gender equality and women’s empowerment are reflected in global efforts to secure a more sustainable planet, PDBs can play an important role to identify and finance solutions that focus on the nexus between climate change and gender equality.

This event will deepen on the PDBs initiatives existing on the nexus of gender and green, which remains as one of the priorities of the Finance in Common Summit’s gender equality coalition of development banks.
