French Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
AFD Group offers French civil society organizations (CSOs) a range of tools and mechanisms to support their work. Every year, we issue a call for projects and expressions of intent to co-finance development projects in countries that qualify for official development assistance (ODA). Projects must help strengthen civil society and contribute to achieving the SDGs. They may focus on priority issues like gender equality, climate, biodiversity, young people, education, and human rights.
These mechanisms are designed to enhance the impact, visibility, and capacity for action of French CSOs in the field of international development.
